Claim to Fame: My mother is a good cook as were both my grandmothers. Though I didn't
appreciate it growing up, I now try to revive some of their old recipes and create new ones.
Nothing beats a day at home, in my kitchen, with my loved ones around!
Fun Fact: I've long held an interest in politics, probably since my sixth-grade class held a
mock election in 1980 between Carter and Reagan. After the inauguration, my parents took
me to President Carter's welcome- home event in Plains, Georgia where we were able to
meet some of his family. That early exposure stayed with me. I eventually earned a
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UGA. Go Dawgs!
